Taliban Ultimatum: `Surrender the Terrorists or Surrender Power'
In a speech delivered to the Labor Party's annual conference in Brighton, England on Tuesday, British Prime Minister Tony Blair sent out the toughest warning yet to the Taliban: "Surrender the Terrorists or Surrender Power."
Blair's powerful ultimatum gave no indication of when military action might start, however he did say the main target would be Osama bin Laden, the suspected mastermind behind the September 11 terrorist attacks on America.
Promising to stand shoulder to shoulder with the United States, Blair said there could be no compomise with terrorism.
