Year in, year out, the best gun show we have in the area is the winter event at the Empire State Plaza.
This year's will be Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are scheduled to be 450 tables on display, with no surplus offered made after 1945, and no unrelated items. Represented will be the history of firearms from flintlocks to the most modern technology.
All local, state and federal firearms laws will be enforced. All cartridge guns entering, within, and leaving the show must be tied in such a manner that they can't be loaded.
