With son Brett on her heels, Patti Connors walked into thetennis tournament office for the one interview she had agreed to dowhile she was in Chicago for the Volvo Chicago/Tennis Tournament.
Her husband, Jimmy, a.k.a. the bad boy of tennis, already was onthe court warming up for a match with Steve Denton. Aubree-Leigh,the Connors' 15-month-old daughter, was back at the hotel with theirhousekeeper.
This was her first interview in three years. She hadn't doneone, she said, since the last interviewer misquoted her.
