Fed; Qantas stops stand-downs ahead of more talks
MELBOURNE, Feb 5 AAP - Qantas has agreed to stop standing down maintenance workerswho refuse to work overtime ahead of further talks in the industrial commission in Sydneytomorrow (Eds: Wednesday).
The move comes after unions challenged the legality of the stand-down action in Melbourne'sFederal Court yesterday.
The Federal Court application for an injunction against Qantas over the stand-downswas adjourned until Thursday.
